Detroit, March 12, 2019 - The three Detroit casinos in February reported $114.6 million in aggregate revenue, notching a 4.1 percent year-over-year increase compared with February 2018 revenue. Year-to-date aggregate revenue increased 2.3 percent compared with the same period last year, and February revenue rose 2.2 percent above January results.
Compared with February 2018, MGM’s monthly revenue rose 7.9 percent to $49.5 million. MotorCity reported a 1 percent revenue increase to $38.7 million, and Greektown revenue was up 1.9 percent to $26.4 million.

The three Detroit casinos paid the state of Michigan $9.3 million in gaming taxes compared with $8.9 million paid during February 2018.
The three Detroit casinos reported submitting $13.6 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the city of Detroit during February.
