Fee Structure
How can I determine if my account is current or if I have an outstanding balanced?
Questions about billing and outstanding balances can be directed to DTMB – Billing staff member Mindy Hummel at HummelM@michigan.gov or 517-230-2447.
Will I still receive a semi-annual bill for existing radios?
Not for any radios that are used for voice services. In its place, a standard one-time subscriber fee of $250 per radio will be applied when a new or replacement radio is put into service. There is still a biannual data fee for radios using the data portion of integrated voice and data.
Even if you have an outstanding balance, the semi-annual billing no longer exists. You can set up a payment plan with Mindy Hummel at HummelM@michigan.gov or 517-230-2447.
How do I add a new radio or replacement for use with the MPSCS?
A one-time subscriber fee of $250 per device will be collected before the new or replacement radio is activated. Questions about new radio or replacement radio activation can be directed to MPSCS RPU/TDU Manager, Chris Russo at russoc@michigan.gov or 517-420-9299.
