Dr. Jasleen Bedi

Dr. Bedi grew up in Spring Hill, Florida, along the Weeki Wachee River—where dodging the occasional alligator was part of everyday life. After spending most of her adult years in Florida, she moved to Ann Arbor to pursue advanced dental training and became a Board-Certified Orthodontic Specialist.

Falling in love with Ann Arbor, she made it her home and has served the southeast Michigan community for almost two decades. Dr. Bedi is the immediate past president of the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, the Advocacy Chair for the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) for the state of Michigan, and the Delegation Chair for the AAO’s Great Lakes Region. She also serves on the Michigan Board of Orthodontics and is a guest lecturer for orthodontic residents.

Advocacy and elevating the voices of the South Asian community are an incredibly important part of her commitment to giving back. She is also the co-founder of Umeed USA, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved communities.
