Sharon Dow (Taiwanese American, Oakland County)
Sharon Dow, originally from Taiwan, is the CEO and founder of SD3 Connect Studios LLC. Before her entrepreneurial venture, she worked as a Data Architect in Information and Technology with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Sharon actively contributes to her community, serving on the Rochester Hills Human Resources Technical Review Committee and the Rochester Hills Public Safety Infrastructure and Technical Review Committee. She has held numerous leadership positions, including Vice President of the Association of Chinese Americans Inc., Board Treasurer for Friends of Asian Arts and Culture at the Detroit Institute of Arts, and Board Director at the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit. Sharon also served as Past President of the Chinese American Society of Ann Arbor and the Michigan Chinese Women Association, as well as Past Vice President and Communication Chair for the Council of Asian Pacific Americans. Additionally, she was a board member and communication chair for the National Association of Asian American Professionals in Detroit. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature and an MS in Computer Science.
