Executive Branch

The state of Michigan’s 1340.00.130.03 Social Media Standard establishes a statewide policy for the creation, use, and management of state of Michigan social media, social networking accounts for Executive Branch Departments, Agencies and Sub-units. Please contact socialmedia@michigan.gov with questions about this policy. Employee use of social media is guided by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget’s policy 1340.00.130.02 Acceptable Use of Information Technology Standard. Departments may have supplemental policies on employee use of social media.
