Gov. Whitmer Reappoints Members to Board of State Canvassers

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer today announced the following reappointments to the Board of State Canvassers: LANSING, Mich. –

Norman Shinkle, a Republican from Williamston, is a former state senator from Monroe County, former chief judge of the Michigan Tax Tribunal and a member of the Republican State Committee. Mr. Shinkle is reappointed for a term expiring January 31, 2023.
Julie Matuzak, a Democrat from Mount Clemens, is a former political coordinator of the American Federation of Teachers Michigan. Ms. Matuzak is reappointed for a term expiring January 31, 2023.
