Gov. Whitmer Makes Appointments, Reappointments
– Gov. Gretchen Whitmer today announced the following appointments and reappointments to the Mental Health Diversion Council, Michigan Citizen-Community Emergency Response Coordinating Council, Unmanned Aircraft Systems Task Force, and the Library of Michigan Board of Trustees.LANSING, Mich.
Mental Health Diversion Council
Steve A. Kempker of Zeeland, is the sheriff for Ottawa County. Sheriff Kempker is reappointed to represent county sheriffs for a term expiring January 30, 2023.
The Mental Health Diversion Council was created in the Michigan Department of Community Health to advise and assist in the implementation of the Diversion Action Plan and provide recommendations for statutory, contractual or procedural changes to improve diversion.

Michigan Citizen-Community Emergency Response Coordinating Council

Krystal A. Fields of Detroit, is the clean and safe director of Jefferson East, Inc. Ms. Fields is appointed to succeed Alisha Clack to represent the general public for a term expiring December 31, 2019.
The MCCERCC assists in developing, maintaining, implementing, supporting and promoting emergency response principles, strategies and practices within governmental agencies and private sector organizations in Michigan.

Unmanned Aircraft Systems Task Force
Melinda Marion of Plymouth, is the director of business development at the Michigan Unmanned Aerial Systems Consortium. Ms. Marion is appointed to succeed Susan Roberts to represent an unmanned aircraft systems technical commercial representative for a term expiring July 31, 2022.
The Unmanned Aircraft Systems Task Force is created to develop statewide policy recommendations on the operation, use and regulation of unmanned aircraft systems in the state. The task force is represented by a multitude of fields including agriculture, municipalities, manufacturing trade associations, MDOT and technical representatives of unmanned aircraft systems to balance the conversation between regulation unmanned aircraft systems and harnessing their economic and commerce potential.

The Library of Michigan Board of Trustees
. Ms. Hmayed is appointed to succeed Judith Hauser to represent librarians from a private or public K-12 system for a term expiring October 1, 2020.sNancy V. Hmayed of Dearborn, is the media specialist for Dearborn Public School
The Library of Michigan Board of Trustees makes recommendations to the Department of Education on the services the library shall provide general policy concerning the library, library budget and proposed rules governing operations of the library.
