 Gov. Whitmer Signs Bill Streamlining Medical Marijuana Applications

 

 the definition of “applicant” in the Medical Marihuana Facilities and Licensing Act to match the definition that was passed into law in the previous legislative session. Senator Michael MacDonald (SD-10) sponsored the bill.  to amend  Today Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed Senate Bill 203 LANSING, Mich. --

 

 10 percent or less would see the process streamlined.of This bill would define the term applicant as anyone with a stake in a company greater than 10 percent, and would require those applicants to undergo the standard vetting process. However, stakeholders with an ownership  clarifies and streamlines the licensing process for medical marijuana and industrial hemp.which passed with bipartisan support,  ,Senate Bill 203

  

 Senate Bill 203 will take effect immediately after its enactment.
