WHEREAS, independent wireless dealers are a vital part of the wireless communications industry; and,
WHEREAS, as more citizens and businesses have begun to rely only on wireless devices to communicate, the independent wireless dealer industry has experienced exponential growth; and,
WHEREAS, these independent wireless dealers provide clients with cellphone repairs, upgrades, and additional accessories to ensure that all of their wireless communication needs are met; and,
WHEREAS, in spite of the pandemic, independent wireless dealers remained open to provide vital technological support when our state needed it the most; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Gretchen Whitmer, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaim May 2021 as Independent Wireless Dealers Month Michigan.
