March 16, 2026: TUBB3-Related Disorders Awareness Day

WHEREAS, individuals and families affected by TUBB3-related disorders often face complex medical challenges that impact mobility, development, and daily life; and

WHEREAS, increased public awareness and education about rare neurological conditions helps promote early diagnosis, access to care, research, and community support; and

WHEREAS, the TUBB3 Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting families, and advancing understanding of TUBB3-related disorders and other rare neurological conditions; and

WHEREAS, the TUBB3 Foundation works to provide advocacy, resources, and hope to families while fostering compassion and inclusion for those living with rare conditions;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Gretchen Whitmer, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaim March 16, 2026, as TUBB3-Related Disorders Awareness Day in Michigan. I encourage all citizens to join in recognizing this day, increasing awareness, and supporting individuals and families impacted by TUBB3-related disorders and rare neurological conditions.
