Available Benefits

Here is an overview of the different pension benefits available to you or your survivors depending on your situation. Click on the different types to learn more.

Full Retirement Deferred Retirement
You qualify for a full retirement at any age with 25 years of service. Your annual retirement benefit is computed by multiplying your final average compensation (FAC) by 60 percent. If you leave State Police employment and are vested (you have ten or more years of service) but have not reached the 25 years of service needed for a full retirement, you qualify for a deferred retirement. You can apply for a benefit at age 50.
