SIGMA VSS: Doing Business with the State

The State of Michigan implemented SIGMA to improve budgeting processes, accounting activities, payments, receiving bids, and providing grant opportunities. SIGMA Vendor Self-Service (VSS) improves working with vendors, payees and grantees.

Don't Miss Out on Opportunities: Add Commodity Codes to Your Account

With SIGMA Vendor Self-Service, vendors can receive email notifications for solicitations posted for goods and services that match the commodity codes they have associated with their business.

To receive email notifications based on NIGP commodity codes:

Vendors should log into their account and go to the Commodities tab. On the Commodities tab, vendors can then search and select Commodity/Service Codes that apply to their account. After Commodity/Service Codes are added vendors will receive email notification as solicitations post with the selected Codes. Please confirm that your SIGMA Vendor Self-Service account has the most up to date email address to make sure you do not miss out on these opportunities.

CHILD CARE STABILIZATION GRANT

Applications for this program will open March 22nd and close May 26th. Additional information can be found at www.michigan.gov/childcare. As part of the application process, you will need to provide your SIGMA Vendor Number and Mail Code/Address ID.

Apply for Business Resources (ABR) through the Growing MI Business Grant Program

The Growing MI Business grant program is a program by the State of Michigan to distribute up to $409 Million of its American Rescue Plan Act funds to be awarded through grants to provide resources to businesses that meet certain criteria.

HFA AND AFC Registration Testing Requirement Reimbursements

Homes for the aged (HFA), larger adult foster care facilities (AFC), and skilled nursing facilities serving 13 or more individuals may receive financial support for testing of residents and staff through orders issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). HFAs and AFCs meeting the requirements must register in SIGMA as a vendor to receive reimbursements. DHHS will use SIGMA to process payments to eligible HFAs and AFCs.

Vendors needing to register should review the tutorial titled SIGMA VSS Register New Account Registration for Grants below, and visit the SIGMA VSS website to begin the process.
