It will be at 9:00 a.m. The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 23, 2004, to consider the possible parole of Robert Lee Harris, #193983. Amended Notice. It was previously scheduled to be held at the Dale Foltz Training Center, Jackson. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson.
He was sentenced on June 3, 1988, from Wayne County. Robert Harris is serving a sentence for delivery of over 650 grams of cocaine.
John S. Rubitschun, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).
Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to October 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
