The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, to consider the possible parole of Demetrius Cunningham, #197466. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan.
Demetrius Cunningham is serving a life sentence for Delivery of Controlled Substance > 650 grams. He was sentenced on November 29, 1990 from Oakland County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).
By statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17½ or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
