The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, to consider the possible parole of Ponce Deleon Jones, #157732.  It will be at 10:30 a.m. at Duane Waters Hospital, Jackson, Michigan.

Ponce Jones is serving a sentence for CSC (Relationship).  He was sentenced on May 11, 1979 from Wayne County.

Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.

Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to October 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
