The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 6, 2007, to consider the possible parole of George Dewain Bloom, #169434. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at Duane Waters Hospital, Jackson, Michigan.
George Dewain Bloom is serving a sentence for CSC 1st Degree. He was sentenced on June 14, 1982 from Kalamazoo County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to October 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
