A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Maimoona Hakim Husain

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday June 5, 2008 to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Maimoona Hakim Husain. It will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Michigan Department of Corrections, Grandview Plaza, 206 East Michigan Avenue, 4th Floor Conference Room, Lansing.
Maimoona Hakim Husain received five years probation for Conspiracy to Defraud Medicaid, Conspiracy to Deliver Controlled Substance. She was sentenced on November 14, 1989, from Oakland County.
Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
