The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for James Threet, #162678. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.
James Threet is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Kidnapping and a 66y 8m to 100y sentence for the crime of Assault with Intent to Commit Murder. He was sentenced on September 5, 1980 from Lenawee County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
