A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Scott Michael Barber, #255809

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 , to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Scott Michael Barber, #255809. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.

Scott Michael Barber is serving a 20y-40y sentence for the crime of 4th Carrying a Concealed Weapon and a 10y-15y sentence for the crime of 4th Resist and Obstruct a Police Officer.  He was sentenced on April 24, 1997 from Wexford County.

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
