The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 19, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Joaquin Rojas Torres, #506494. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.

Joaquin Rojas Torres is serving a 15y-30y sentence for the crime of Manufacture and Delivery Over 1,000 Grams of Cocaine and serving a 7y-20y sentence for the crime of Manufacture and Delivery of 50-449 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on September 7, 2004 from Muskegon County.

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
