The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 17, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Royal Chatman, #235904. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Royal Chatman is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Manufacture and Delivery of Over 650 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on February 16, 1994 from Oakland County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
