The public hearing previously scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Michael McKinney, #262646 at 1:00 p.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, Michigan has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the T100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.
Michael McKinney is serving a term of 18y6m-30y for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. He was sentenced on January 15, 1998 from Kent County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
