A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Dwight David Dery

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Dwight David Dery. It will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, MI.
Dwight David Dery was sentenced to a term of 1 year County Jail for the crime of Forgery and a term of 2y-14y for the crime of Uttering and Publishing. He was sentenced on May 11, 1953 and May 15, 1954 respectively, out of Genesee County.
Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole and Commutation Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
