The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of John Arden Polick, #144798. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
John Arden Polick is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Murder 1st Degree. He was sentenced on March 23, 1976 from Oakland County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.

The Northern Region John Davids Recruit Academy Class graduation took place on Nov. 20 at Lake Superior State University and recognized 48 new officers. The class is the largest northern region academy to graduate since 2016. New officers will help to reduce vacancies at facilities across the Upper Peninsula.
