A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Joseph Hastings

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Joseph Hastings. It will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, Michigan.
Joseph Hastings was sentenced to a term of two (2) years probation for the crime of Malicious Destruction of Property Over $100, and to a term of two (2) years probation for the crime of Attempt Larceny Over $100. He was sentenced on September 2, 1993 and January 30, 1995 from Wayne County.
Thomas R. Combs, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
