The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 22, 2015 to consider the possible parole of Kevin Johnson, #308616. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan.
Kevin Johnson is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Possession of More than 650 grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on March 23, 2000 out of Wayne County.
Michael C. Eagen, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
The Michigan Department of Corrections harvested over 100,000 pounds of fresh food through various horticulture training programs and recreational gardens.
The Northern Region John Davids Recruit Academy Class graduation took place on Nov. 20 at Lake Superior State University and recognized 48 new officers. The class is the largest northern region academy to graduate since 2016. New officers will help to reduce vacancies at facilities across the Upper Peninsula.
