The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 to consider the possible parole of Dalvin Jones, #277712. It will be held at 9:00 a.m at the Handlon Michigan Training Center; Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan.
Dalvin Jones is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Controlled Substance-Deliver/Manufacture-Narcotics/Cocaine Over 650 Grams or More-Conspiracy. He was sentenced on December 30, 1998 out of Muskegon County.
Brian J. Shipman, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By statute, prisoners serving a Life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the Parole Board can obtain jurisdiction.
