A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Lukasz Niec

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Lukasz Niec. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center; G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan.
Lukasz Niec was sentenced to a term of Delayed Sentence - 1 Year Reporting Probation and $250 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Malicious Destruction of Property. He was sentenced on January 30, 1992 from Macomb County.
Mr. Niec was also sentenced to a term of 3 Years HYTA Probation, Complete High School, 1 Weekend in Jail, and $2,900 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) (two counts) for the crimes of Stolen Property - Receive/Conceal Over $100 and Financial Transaction Device Steal/Retain. He was sentenced on April 10, 1992 from Oakland County.
Michael C. Eagen, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
