A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence for John Topie, #319300

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 to consider the possible commutation of sentence for John Topie, #319300.  It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the RGC Administrative Conference Room; Charles E. Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson, Michigan.

John Topie was sentenced to a term of 5 years to 15 years for the crime of Robbery Armed. He was sentenced on March 6, 2017 out of Lapeer County.

Sonia A. Warchock, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.

Capacity at the public hearing venue is limited; admittance will be on a first come, first serve basis.
