The Public Hearing previously scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, Michigan for Lad Peete, #157014 has been postponed until further notice.
The Michigan Department of Corrections harvested over 100,000 pounds of fresh food through various horticulture training programs and recreational gardens.
The Northern Region John Davids Recruit Academy Class graduation took place on Nov. 20 at Lake Superior State University and recognized 48 new officers. The class is the largest northern region academy to graduate since 2016. New officers will help to reduce vacancies at facilities across the Upper Peninsula.
