The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to consider the possible parole of Timothy Johnson, #232239. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams and can be accessed by clicking HERE.
Those planning to access the hearing must call 517-335-1736 no later than August 14, 2020 to confirm attendance.
Timothy Johnson is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine Over 650 Grams. He was sentenced on July 22, 1993 out of Muskegon County.
Edwin Heap, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By statute, prisoners serving a Life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the Parole Board can obtain jurisdiction.
