The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 9:00 am to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Lawrence Dantzler, #181647. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams and can be accessed by clicking HERE

Those planning to access the hearing must call 517-335-1736 no later than September 30, 2022, to confirm attendance.

Lawrence Dantzler was sentenced to a term of 50 years to 100 years for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. Lawrence Dantzler was sentenced on November 15, 1985, out of Wayne County. 

Crissa Blankenburg, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.224 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
