A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Ernesto Rodriguez

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Ernesto Rodriguez.  The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams and can be accessed by clicking HERE.

Those planning to access the hearing must call 517-335-1736 no later than November 23, 2022, to confirm attendance.

Ernesto Rodriguez was sentenced to a term of 6 months jail for the crime of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Deliver Over 5 Kilograms of Marijuana. Ernesto Rodriguez was sentenced on April 2, 2002, out of Kent County.

Brian Shipman, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.   

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
