The State’s Fiscal Year 2027 Budget includes a significant reduction in CPE Program funding. Commission staff is assessing 2027 program costs and will provide an update once agency allocations are determined. CPE disbursements are anticipated in December 2026.

Dear Law Enforcement Community,
As of July 8, 2025, the Public Safety Academy Assistance (PSAA) Appropriation II grant funds will be exhausted by the applications currently being processed. Consequently, the Commission will no longer be accepting grant applications under the PSAA-Appropriation II grant program.
We will process the grant applications in our possession on a case-by-case basis, in the order they were received.
The Commission will provide status updates to agencies that have already submitted grant applications. Agencies can expect to receive an update by July 31, 2025.
