MDCR investigates complaints to determine whether unlawful discrimination has occurred. While investigating a complaint, MDCR is impartial and does not act as an advocate or representative for either party.
The Managing Attorney and MDCR staff attorneys serve as legal advisors to all MDCR organizational units.

LANSING -- The Michigan Civil Rights Commission will hold a regular business meeting on Monday, May 20 at 2:00 pm. This meeting will take place in the Commission Room, 110 W. Michigan Avenue, Suite 800, Lansing.
Those who wish to address the Commission on civil rights issues will have the opportunity to speak during the public comment period at the end of the meeting.
