*POSTPONED** Michigan Civil Rights Commission Hearing on Discrimination in K-12 Education

Warren, MI -The hearing on Discrimination in K-12 Education scheduled by the Michigan Civil Rights Commission (MCRC) for January 28, 2019 at Macomb Community College has been postponed* due to expected inclement weather. The hearing will be rescheduled for a later date.
At this time, MCRC will hold the scheduled 1 p.m. meeting on January 28, 2019 at Macomb Community College, John Lewis Center, Building K, Room K-301, located at 14500 E. 12 Mile Rd., Warren, MI 48088.
MCRC continues to monitor weather conditions. If weather dictates a cancelation of the MCRC meeting, notification will be sent in an updated press release.
The Michigan Department of Civil Rights, the operational arm of the Michigan Civil Rights Commission, is charged with investigating and resolving discrimination complaints and works to prevent discrimination through educational programs that promote voluntary compliance with civil rights laws. The Department also provides information and services to businesses on diversity initiatives and equal employment law.
