David A. Berridge

Commissioner

David A. Berridge has over 42 years of experience working as a transportation engineer, director of public service, and special projects coordinator for the City of Lansing and Michigan Department of Transportation. Mr. Berridge has also served on bargaining committees representing labor and management. He has served as chair of the State of Michigan Retirement Board and presently volunteers with the AARP Foundation Tax Aide Program and the Tuesday Toolmen building handicap-access ramps. Previously, he was the vice president of the Scientific and Engineering unit of SEIU 517M and chief spokesperson for several rounds of negotiations. Mr. Berridge holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Michigan State University. Commissioner Berridge’s term expires December 31, 2032.
