Parental Leave of Absence
Parental Leave of Absence
A parental leave of absence gives mom and dad time off work to bond with their new child. Parental leaves must be taken within one year of your child's birth, adoption, or foster placement.
Parental leave entitlement runs concurrently with a paid parental leave entitlement and, if eligible, may be used after paid parental leave or maternity leave ends.
Your Parental Leave may be covered under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
