Detroit Casino Revenues and Wagering Taxes for October

The gaming revenues for MGM Grand Detroit, MotorCity Casino and Greektown Casino were $48.4 million, $37.8 million, and $24.7 million, respectively. The October revenues were down $7.1 million in comparison to the same month in 2007.

The October gaming taxes for the three Detroit casinos were $9.985 million in comparison to $14.306 million for October 2007. The decrease in the State of Michigan's gaming tax revenue, is due to the tax rollback approved for MGM Grand Detroit Casino and MotorCity Casino.
