Detroit, June 11, 2019 - The three Detroit casinos reported $125.7 million in aggregate revenue during May for a fractional 0.9 percent year-over-year increase from May 2018. May revenue was a fractional 0.6 percent higher than April results. The casinos' year-to-date aggregate revenue was 1.5 percent higher than in the first five months of 2018.
Compared with May 2018, monthly revenue for MGM was up 0.1 percent to $54.4 million, MotorCity revenue increased a fractional 0.9 percent to $41.9 million and Greektown revenue rose 2.4 percent to $29.4 million.

During May, the three Detroit casinos paid $10.2 million in gaming taxes to the State of Michigan compared with $10.1 million during May 2018.
The three Detroit casinos reported submitting $14.97 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the City of Detroit during May.
