For ages 4+, included with museum admission. Every Saturday, you can go on a self-guided scavenger hunt in the Michigan History Museum galleries and win prizes. Six themed scavenger hunts rotate throughout the year: I Spy, nature, Michigan women, colors, the five senses, and creativity. Give each one a try!
For ages 4+, included with museum admission. The second Saturday of each month is a Super Saturday at the Michigan History Museum. That's when our docents and other volunteers lead visitors in fun and interesting hands-on experiences. You could explore the music of Motown with real records, learn about Great Lakes shipping history with handmade boat models, tour Michigan's State Parks on the Oculus Rift, throwback to the 1970s by making a pet rock - and much more!
