Jeff Getting
Jeff Getting, of Kalamazoo, is currently the Kalamazoo County Prosecuting Attorney. He is a past-president of the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM) and currently serves on the PAAM Board of Directors as well as several additional committees. Jeff was first elected as Prosecuting Attorney in 2012, and was re-elected in 2016, 2020, and 2024. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University and the Indiana University School of Law.
In addition to serving on the Human Trafficking Commission, Jeff serves as a member of the Michigan Crime Victim Services Commission, is Chair of the Board of Directors for Prevention Works, is Chair of the Board of Directors for Kalamazoo Probation Enhancement Program, is Chair of Kalamazoo Community Corrections Advisory Committee, and is a member of the Integrated Services of Kalamazoo Recipient Rights Advisory Committee.
Jeff is appointed to represent county prosecuting attorneys and was nominated for the position by PAAM.
