The nightly rate is $134 and is subject to prevailing taxes and fees, currently 6% sales, 5% county, and 4% city, nightly.
*Cancellations made within 48 hours of the arrival date, and all no-shows will be charged the first night’s room charge plus tax.
Hotel Guests will be responsible for paying their own room, tax, and incidentals incurred by them at the hotel. A method of payment will be required at the time of reservation to hold the room. Charges to the card will be made upon arrival at the hotel. To cover incidentals, the hotel will hold $50 per night on the card on file. The incidental hold will drop upon check out but can take up to 7 days to release on the bank end depending on the bank institution and card type (credit cards are best vs debit cards).
If you are registering as a Michigan sales tax-exempt organization, you must bring proof of your tax-exempt status with you. It is suggested that you bring a check from your municipality or pay with a municipal credit card. The hotel will not honor your tax-exempt status if you pay with a personal credit card or check and will not be able to remove state taxes without the exemption form.
There is also a block of rooms available at the same conference rate at the Shoreline Inn to accommodate overflow reservations if the main room block at the conference center should fill up. This hotel is just a short distance from the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center.
