1. I want to register for miAccount but I can't find my Member ID.

If you are an active member, you will need your Member ID to register for miAccount. However, if you're a retiree you will need the exact dollar amount of your last pension payment.

If you're an active member and don't have your Member ID, check your Annual Member Statement or any letters that we sent you from 2008 or later. If you don't have those handy, you can request your Member ID through miAccount.

To do so, go to the miAccount login screen, select your retirement system, and click the Register Now button. After you agree to the Michigan Security Policy, fill in the required information and choose your status from the dropdown list. A link will appear that you can click to request your Member ID by U.S. mail.

It takes about 3-5 days for the letter to arrive at the address we have on file for you. If you don't think your address is current, you can call us and we'll update your address for you.
