The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 10, 2005 It will be at  , to consider the possible parole of Nicasio Reyes, #181295. 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Facility, Jackson.

 

He was sentenced on Nicasio Reyes is serving a sentence for possession of a controlled substance over 650 grams with intent to deliver. Oct. 21, 1985, from Wayne County.

 

John S. Rubitschun, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).

 

Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to Oct. 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
