The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 17, 2005to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Shirley Tyson-Bey, #A169707.  It will be held at ,9 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, Jackson.

 

Shirley Tyson-Bey is serving consecutive terms of 2 – 2 years for the crime of possession firearm felony, 1 year 7 months – 20 years for the crime of 4th  controlled substance and 1 – 20 years for the crime of 4th  controlled substance.  She was sentenced on Aug. 1, 2001, from Oakland County for these offenses.  She is also serving consecutive terms of 5 months – 20 years 1 day for the crime of 4th  controlled substance and 1 year – 20 years 1 day for the crime of 4th  controlled substance and was sentenced on May 8, 2001, from Oakland County for these offenses.

 

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
