Public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Demetrius Titus, #231589.

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 28, 2008, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Demetrius Titus, #231589. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.
Demetrius Titus was sentenced on June 7, 1993 from Oakland County to 10y -20y for the crime of Possession of 50-224 Grams of Cocaine; and on November 4, 1998 to 10y - 20y for the crime of Delivery of 50-224 Grams of Cocaine, 10y - 20y for the crime of Delivery of 50-224 Grams of Cocaine and 10y - 20y for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver 50-224 Grams of Cocaine.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
