The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Mack Gumar, #137897. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Duane Waters Health Center, Jackson, Michigan.
Mack Gumar is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Murder 1st Degree and a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Commit Murder 1st Degree. He was sentenced on May 28, 1987 from Wayne County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
