The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for John Colton, #173126. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Duane Waters Hospital, Jackson, Michigan.
John Colton was sentenced on April 15, 1997 from Oakland County to a term of 2y - 2y for the crime of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and to a term of 20y - 40y for the crime of Robbery Armed 3rd Offense.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
