The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 12, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Jerry W. Thompson, #119545. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, MI.
Jerry W. Thompson is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Possession of Over 650 Grams of Cocaine, a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery/Manufacture of Over 650 Grams of Cocaine and a term of 10y-20y for the crime of Delivery/Manufacture of 50-224 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on January 29, 1991, January 29, 1991 and June 24, 1991 from Oakland County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
